Launch of YouthADAPT Challenge 2023: Empowering Africa’s Female Tech Innovators to tackle Climate Change

The YouthADAPT Challenge 2023 is now open for applications, offering a remarkable opportunity for growth-stage, women-owned businesses who are ethically deploying 4th industrial revolution technologies and innovations for climate adaptation at scale.

By participating, eligible businesses have the chance to win a grant of up to $100,000 and become part of a transformative 1-year accelerator program that will offer business development services, mentorship, coaching and opportunities for partnerships. Successful businesses will also stand a chance to join the membership of the coveted YouthADAPT Alumni Network.

The YouthADAPT Challenge 2023 is an integral part of the African Adaptation Acceleration Program (AAAP), implemented by the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) and the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA). This year’s challenge is funded by the Africa Climate Change Fund (ACCF) hosted by the Bank.
